Conor earned $3.285 million on July 11, 2015, after defeating Chad Mendes at UFC 189. On December 11, 2015, he earned $4.5 million by defeating Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds. On March 5, 2016, it was reported that Conor made around $5.6 million when fighting Nate Diaz at UFC 196, which he matched when they faced each other again at UFC 202. In November 2016, he earned approximately $7 million in a fight against Eddie Alvarez.
In October 2018, it was estimated that Conor earned a staggering $50 million while fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov.
After a highly-anticipated return to the UFC on January 18, 2020, Conor defeated Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. For this fight, he was guaranteed a record $5 million from the UFC. He hinted in interviews that if Pay Per View sales were strong, his earnings could potentially surpass $80 million from the Cerrone fight; Cerrone, on the other hand, was guaranteed $2 million for his appearance.

In September 2018, McGregor introduced the Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey brand to both Ireland and the United States. Prior to the launch, they secured liquor company Proximo Spirits as a 20% equity partner, known primarily for its ownership of Jose Cuervo tequila. By mid-2020, Proximo invested $250 million to increase its shareholding to 49%.
In April 2021, McGregor along with his business associates sold their remaining combined 51% interest in Proper No. Twelve to Proximo Spirits. The overall value of this agreement could reach $600 million, a figure that includes the prior $250 million earned by the founders from the earlier deal with Proximo. Therefore, if every long-term milestone is achieved, Conor could potentially pocket $200 million from Proper No. Twelve.
Road House Salary
