Manobal began her journey in dance at just four years old, consistently participating in dance competitions. She ultimately joined the dance crew We Zaa Cool, where she earned accolades in televised contests. At 13, she successfully auditioned for YG Entertainment, relocating to South Korea. There, she made history as the first non-ethnically Korean trainee at the label and later featured in the music video for “Ringa Linga,” a single by her label-mate Taeyang.

Rise with Blackpink

In 2016, Manobal became widely known as one of the four members of Blackpink, a girl group established by YG Entertainment. Adopting the stage name Lisa, she teamed up with Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé. Later in the same year, the single “SG,” a collaboration featuring DJ Snake, Ozuna, and Megan Thee Stallion, added to her success. In 2023, she collaborated with Taeyang on the hit track “Shoong!,” also appearing in its performance video. Television Career

Over the years, Lisa has made appearances on various television shows.
